The Digital Tech Academy in collaboration with some of our partners are looking for a Environmental Sustainability trainer to join our college network. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and qualified trainer and assessor who can engage and motivate students by delivering exciting classes. Applicants will be delivering the 11130NAT Certificate IV in Environmental Sustainability Management.

All applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

• TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAELLN411 + TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) OR
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (with TAEASS502 or TAELLN411) OR
• A qualification in adult education at a Diploma or higher level, preferably digital marketing related
• Understanding of trainer qualification mapping, assessment validation and moderation
• Experience delivering online qualifications
• Excellent oral, written communication, presentation and computing skills
• Demonstrate industry and VET currency/experience and professional development
• Understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and National Code 2018

Environmental Sustainability and Management Experience

• You should have knowledge or experience in topics such as:
• Environmental Management Systems
• Carbon Emissions
• Sustainability Rating Tools
• Waste Management and Minimisation
• Energy Efficiency Plans
• Workplace Compliance with WHS Laws
• Environmentally Sustainable Work Practices
• Business Risk Management Processes

Key responsibilities

• Quality delivery and applying innovative teaching techniques/activities relevant to qualification being delivered
• Overseeing students’ progress and providing advice and guidance
• Marking assessments and providing constructive feedback.
• Supporting students and delivering online training via the Learning Management Systems
• Participating in validation sessions
• Developing relationships with Industry key personals for high quality program delivery
